I guide gentle Hatha and Yin Yoga classes. Classes include mindful movement, pranayama (breathwork), meditation and relaxation. I also hope to inspire you with the wisdom of yogic philosophy and how this can be applied to your everyday life both on and off the mat.

As a teacher I am calming, gentle and compassionate. I’m also curious and love to learn and share the things that inspire me. I look forward to welcoming you to class.

We’ll move to ease the body and release tension in the neck, shoulders, back and hips. We’ll use the breath to calm the mind and restore a sense of peace and clarity. We’ll slow down to balance the busyness of daily life. Once a month we'll slow it right down for a nurturing restorative class. This class is suitable for those who are just starting their yoga journey or if you prefer a slower paced class to balance a busy lifestyle or exercise regime.

Safety

Please note that, depending on how your camera is situated, I may not be
able to observe all that you do throughout the class. Therefore, please make
sure of the following:

  • That the area around you is clear and that you’re not going to bump into anything as you practice.

  • Where you have declared a health condition on your questionnaire, that you have contacted me by email before the class to request that you are provided with suitable modifications or adjustments wherever possible.

  • That you always follow the safety instructions and also listen to your body; where a movement or class is beyond your experience or ability, feels too difficult for you, or you experience any discomfort, please do not continue the Yoga class and consult your health care professional.
